        The No Kings movement has organized another series of protests for October 17th, this upcoming Saturday, to bring attention to and rally the early vote. Hundreds of protests have been organized in every state, with solidarity protests being organized overseas. With so much hanging in the balance, everyone who can must vote in every election they can. In a democracy, the people in charge are chosen by the people to represent them, to represent their nation. In 2026, we must reject these monsters who are working to tear our country apart and see them thrown out! In America, We the People will allow no kings!

        Meanwhile, there will be more struggles after 2026. There are elections for offices all across America happening all the time. Beyond federal elections, there are state governors, state senates, and more. The fight for democracy is not won every four years, not every two years, not every year, but every day. It is the enduring struggle for a better world for ourselves and for our neighbors and for our children and for our children's children. It must be fought whenever and wherever it needs to be fought. As we go forward, we must ensure that we clean this un-American rot from our whole country.

        The States Project works to organize support for Democrats running for state senate and is working this year to flip several states. Their work is crucial to affect local laws that have a great impact on the lives of people living in those states, and can affect national policy- after state level bans on abortion were leveled by several red states, they began suing to try and force other states to restrict care as well. They are accepting donations and volunteers both for 2026 and going forward. The Black Power War Room, meanwhile, is working to fight effort at the national and state level to suppress the black and brown vote. The offer resources on how to organize the local activism crucial in these times.
