           The Supreme Court has  ruled in favor of Louisiana's government  in a case on the Voting Rights Act- congressional districts draw to ensure representation for Black and Brown communities can now be replaced with new gerrymanders. There are more than a dozen districts across the south that would be redistricted to suppress minority voters.          Given the recent nature of this ruling, there has yet to be any official lawsuits against this. However, many are sure to come. The  ACLU  and  NAACP  are among those likely to fight this and other similar attempts to suppress voters. They are accepting volunteers and donations. Meanwhile, something you can do is register to vote- yes, this news is of something that would suppress the vote and lessen the effect of voting, but them doing this means they are rightfully terrified of us voting them out.
