Idaho's state legislature is set to implement a new bathroom bill that is deeply hateful and a wild invasion of privacy. It prohibits trans people from using restrooms of their gender identity, and those working to advance it have floated mandatory DNA tests as a way to ensure it would be enforced. While an absurdity, it is one they are committed to. The law is set to take effect on July 1st. The ACLU , which is accepting volunteered time and money, is suing to block the ruling. If you live in Idaho, you can call the state legislature and voice your displeasure against this, or support trans people by contributing to and spreading awareness of trans essentials and the Queer Trans Project , both groups providing material aid to trans people in the form of binders, hormone pills, and other essentials.
