        In the most recent Economist poll, Trump's approval rating has collapsed. This is not a collapse limited to America's cities or a few swing counties, but is a nationwide pushback, with Trump maintaining a net approval rating in only 15 states, and has minimum disapproval rating of 9% in every swing state, with falling approval even in the Republican heartland- Negative 4% in Kansas and Indiana, negative 7% in Ohio and Utah, negative 11% in Texas! The Trump cult of personality is breaking under the weight of his own policy and lies, and despite all his typical internet flailing, he cannot win them back.

        Now, the response of the American people is most critical. We must do two things. Firstly, we must hobble the advance of the Trump regime's agenda as much as we can through protest and through our representatives as much as we can, and we must win in the 2026 midterms so we can begin to overturn his agenda. No longer is our strategy one of scrambling defense- It is of preparation for a great offensive.

        Trump's pet project, the gleefully named Alligator Alcatraz, is facing legal challenges. Already in operation, it has managed to rack up a horrifying number of human rights abuses. A lawsuit is being filed against it by the American Civil Liberties Union on the basis of those violations, and you can donate to support their fight or sign the petition they've started on the issue. Another group, Friends of the Everglades, is filing a lawsuit on an environmental basis. It's feared that the site would cause potentially devastating environmental damage to the region. They are both trying to end the expansion of the site and will be trying to repair the environmental damage done by the construction. Following the link above, they provide a guide on how to oppose it's construction. If you happen to live in Florida and want to protest the actions of the state government, you can use a group like Indivisible or Mobilize to join a protest, or you can organize one yourself- The 50/50/1 Movement has resources on how to plan a protest, and with the right know how and enough motivated people, you can appear anywhere and break the illusion of Trump's mandate.

        On a larger scale, ICE is still engaged in mass kidnappings across America. ICEmap and StopICE are both dedicated to tracking their raids, while legal advice is provided by the ACLU, AOC's Know Your Rights website, and the Immigration Legal Resource Center, which produces the Tarjetas Rojas. Whatever you can manage- Whether it be contributing to one of these groups, joining a protest, or simply spreading information about them, do it. If you can't or if you can but want to do more, you can use the Find your member website to find your congressman or senator to make it clear how important these issues are to you.
