        This is a fucking offense against America. The East Wing of the White House was built by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, one of the greatest Presidents this nation has ever seen. It is now gone, and in its place is going to be a ballroom. A God damned ballroom is being built with $250 million in corporate bribes and taxpayer dollars while 40 million Americans loose SNAP benefits and health insurance costs are set to spike. This is at the same time as Trump fires thousands of federal workers and loots $230 million from the DOJ, the same time as he delivers a $20 billion bailout to an Argentine crypto-scammer masquerading as prime minister- at the same time as every other act that strips America away and lines his pockets.

        This cannot go unanswered. For now, the president is out of reach, but those who enable him aren't. A list of donors, if only a partial one, has been released. If you can, boycott them. With their money, they can grease the palm of whatever agency they happen to fall under and fatten themselves. With our money, we can cut them off and starve them for their collaboration. A related but independent list of Trump supporting companies has been compiled by the 50/50/1 movement to be boycotted. If you live in DC or the surrounding area, you can join the November 5th protests being organized by Refuse Fascism. The 50/50/1 movement has a number of resources for protesters to make themselves heard and keep themselves safe.

        Meanwhile, the redistricting effort sweeping America is reaching a fever pitch. After Texas began, at Trump's urging, to redraw representative districts in ridiculous fashion, stripping away 5 Democratic seats. It was joined by Utah, Missouri, and other Republican run states. In response, California, Maryland, and others have taken steps to do the same and offset this blatant attempt at voter repression. And, in spite of his best efforts, Trump has faced issue. In Utah, the state Supreme Court struck down the map Republicans proposed, and in three republican run states the legislatures have resisted the regime's demands to squash their voter's will. If you live in a state where Trump is backing a redistricting effort, you can contact your state government to urge them to do the same or join a protest against their actions.

        On a final note, as inflation climbs, food programs are cut, and people go hungry, we are approaching Thanksgiving. This holiday is about family, community bonds, and food. As all become stretched thin, it's more important than ever. Feeding America, a nationwide charity, works both to provide food aid and connect people with local groups like food banks.
